This Epoxy Resin has a long working time and produces little or no exotherm heat. ADR 230 is used with ADH 230 hardener and sold as a kit (resin+hardener), but individual components may be available for purchase if required.

Main Features:

• Mix and pour up to 25-30mm deep in one pour (manufacturer recommendations).
• Long pot life of 10+ hours at 20°C (1 kg), easy bubble removal and precise article placement.
• Tack free at 21 hours and fully cured at 60 hrs.
• Mix 100parts ADR230 (resin) with 30 parts AD230 (hardener) by weight.
• Little to no exothermic reaction.
• UV Stabilizer added.
• Low viscosity – fluid for intricate castings.
• Slightly tinted blue so when hard, it keeps a high degree of clarity.
• Hardness score: Shore D 80-85.
• Water clear casting resin. The resin component has a slight blue, anti-UV tint that clears when added to the hardener.

Mixed ADR 230 Clear Casting Resin can be coloured or tinted with pigments, pastes or tints. ADR 230 can be poured into silicone rubber moulds. Ideal temperature should be between 18-25°C, humidity level below 70%. Surface bubbles can be removed by passing hot air or flame very briefly over surface. If using alcohol inks DO NOT use a flame to remove bubbles. Mixed ADR 230 epoxy resin can be poured in layers. Ideally lightly sand the contact layer to enhance adhesion of layers.
