<h4>Time to learn about resin as an art medium.</h4>
<p>Resin cheeseboards /  Charcuterie boards are very popular and an absolute must for entertaining your friends.<br />
Create a one of a kind <em>Art Cheeseboard + 4 coasters</em><br />
Professional and friendly environment. All materials supplied for you, beginners welcome.</p>
<p><strong>What is included?</strong></p>
<ul>
<li style="text-align: left;"><strong>A Cheeseboard (various designs to choose from) + Four (4) Coasters</strong></li>
<li>Epoxy resin, range of colour pigments/pastes, apron, gloves (everything you need).</li>
<li>Introduction to working with different epoxy resins, colour materials and preparation. Health and safety.</li>
<li>A step by step demonstration of making an <strong>Ocean Scene cheeseboard</strong> (<strong>other <span style="color: #993366;">colours</span></strong> available for your own design).*</li>
<li>The class runs for 3 hours.</li>
<li>Resin Artwork will need 24 hrs to cure to touch dry. We will tidy the boards and arrange delivery to the Centre.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What to bring:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Wear old clothing in case you&#8217;re a bit messy with the resin (we do supply an apron).</li>
<li>Hairdryer (more on this closer to the workshop).</li>
</ul>

<p>Our cancellation policy applies.<br />
A full refund is given, less $20 admin fee if cancelling 5 days or more before the workshop day.<br />
Cancellation within 5 days of the workshop will incur a $50 admin fee.<br />
If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to give your ticket/receipt to a friend or family member who can take your place (Please notify us).<br />
In the unlikely event of a government mandated Covid lock-down, the event will be rescheduled for a future date. If unable to attend that date, a refund will be given.<br />

<em>Please be aware that if you are pregnant we advise that its best NOT to join the resin class and you must be over 16 years old, The resin we use in class is a Professional Artist Epoxy Resin (VOC free) but if you have any allergies or skin irritation toward epoxy resins, please talk to a medical professional first before commencing class. We hold no responsibility for any irritation or medical problems from using resin &#8211; everybody is different. We use gloves and work in a safe (as much as we can) and open environment in class.</em></p>

Protecting timber/furniture

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Lemon Cream</strong> Polish is a light, creamy <strong>beeswax</strong> polish designed to nourish and protect a variety of timber furniture and wood pieces. It is superb on French polished pieces and buffs to a beautiful, high sheen. It can also be used to excellent effect on leather, vinyl and Linoleum floors.</p>
<p><strong>Use For: </strong>Nourishing and protecting timber. Even wooden furniture including antiques.</p>
<p><strong>Surface Preparation</strong>: Ensure the surface is clean and free of dust before applying. Not suitable for raw timber.<br />
<strong>How to Apply</strong>:</p>
<ol>
<li>Dip a clean, lint-free cloth and spread sparingly over the surface, not more than one square metre at a time, in a circular motion.</li>
<li>Buff back vigorously with a soft, lint-free cloth or buffing pads.</li>
<li> Use up to three coats, buffing well between each coat. Allow 20 &#8211; 30 minutes between coats.</li>
</ol>
<p><strong>Dry Time</strong>: 20 minutes provided excess is wiped away.<br />
<strong>Maintenance</strong>: Depending on wear, as surface becomes dull or dry.<br />
<strong>Clean up: </strong>Warm, soapy water for hands or cloth. Excess wax on timber; dampen a cloth with d-Limonene or mineral turpentine.<br />
Note: It contains 1-10% Turpentine oil, so not Food Safe.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Food Safe Wax</strong> is a soft, creamy beeswax-based polish designed to <strong>nourish timber for food preparation areas</strong>. It is also excellent on furniture, in particular, children’s furniture.</p>
<p><strong>Use For: </strong>Nourishing and protecting timber. Ideal for Cheese or Cutting Boards</p>
<p><strong>Surface Preparation</strong>: Ensure the surface is clean and free of dust before applying.<br />
<strong>How to Apply</strong>:</p>
<ol>
<li>Apply sparingly with a clean, dry cloth in a circular motion.</li>
<li>Wipe away any excess with another clean, dry cloth.</li>
<li>Buff back with lint-free cloth.</li>
<li>Apply 2-3 coats on new wood, sparingly. Allow 30min between each coat.</li>
</ol>
